Planning a deep clean in West Hollywood
West Hollywood is a separate city from Los Angeles, incorporated on November 29, 1984, and it runs its own housing rules. Its Rent Stabilization Ordinance, in effect since June 27, 1985, generally covers properties with more than one unit that received a certificate of occupancy before July 1, 1979. When you book, share the square footage, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the floor the unit is on and whether there is an elevator or stairs.
A deep clean includes detailed dusting of baseboards, trim, vents and ledges, and detailed cleaning along floor edges and corners. Routine visits do not include baseboards, while deep and move-in or move-out cleans do. If your home has pets, shelving or lots of trim, mention it so the visit can be planned around the detail work.
In bathrooms, a deep clean removes soap scum and mineral build-up and scrubs grout, tile and fixtures. In the kitchen, it degreases the stovetop and hood exterior and details appliance and cabinet exteriors. The inside of the oven, fridge, microwave, cabinets and drawers, and interior windows and tracks are add-ons.
West Hollywood sets its own street parking rules. In its preferential parking districts, residents can get annual guest permits that exempt their guests from posted restrictions. Tell Ascend whether the cleaner can use a guest permit, a driveway or a building space, and share gate, buzzer and entry instructions.
