Many lots here have one narrow driveway along the side, sometimes used by more than one unit. Say whether the cleaner can pull in to unload or should park on the street.

Los Angeles City Planning describes the Miracle Mile Historic Preservation Overlay Zone as 1,347 properties south of Wilshire Boulevard, bounded by San Vicente Boulevard, La Brea Avenue and Orange Grove Avenue. Most were built in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. North of Olympic Boulevard the blocks are mostly one-story single-family houses, and south of Olympic they are mostly one- and two-story multi-family buildings. Tell Ascend which of these you live in, because the entrance, the scope and the time needed differ.
A 2024 study of the district in the Journal of the American Planning Association found that most Miracle Mile residents rent, in a mix of single-family homes, duplexes and small apartment buildings. If you rent, compare recurring standard cleaning with a move-out clean timed to the end of your lease. Book the move-out after the last boxes leave and before the walkthrough, with water and power still on.
The City Planning Commission's 2016 report on the district describes Spanish Colonial Revival fourplexes and two-story Monterey and Tudor Revival multi-family buildings. In buildings like these, an upstairs unit often has its own outside stair and the lower unit a door beside it. Send the unit number, the right door and any gate code, and say whether supplies must go up a flight of stairs.
The houses follow Period Revival styles such as Spanish Colonial, Tudor, Mediterranean and French Revival, so original tile, wood floors, arched doorways and built-in cabinets are common. Point out finishes that need gentle handling and any products to avoid. A cleaning visit does not repair or refinish worn surfaces. If you want cabinet interiors cleaned, empty them first and store the contents safely.
The Miracle Mile stretch of Wilshire Boulevard is home to LACMA, the Academy Museum, the Petersen Automotive Museum and the La Brea Tar Pits, and Metro opened D Line stations at Wilshire/La Brea and Wilshire/Fairfax on May 8, 2026. If you live in an apartment building on or near Wilshire, share the building's check-in steps, any loading or guest parking and the hours service visits are allowed.
