What's included in deep cleaning?
Deep cleaning includes routine cleaning plus extra detail work on accessible surfaces. It is suited to a first visit, a seasonal reset or a home with buildup that routine upkeep does not address. Ascend's checklist separates included tasks from optional extras so you can choose the service that fits your home.
In the kitchen, deep cleaning adds stovetop degreasing, hood-exterior cleaning, detailed appliance-exterior cleaning and hand-wiping cabinet exteriors. Hood interiors, internal appliance cleaning and disassembly are not included. Counters, the sink and other routine kitchen tasks remain part of the visit.
In bathrooms, the checklist adds attention to soap scum, mineral buildup, grout, tile and reachable areas behind toilets. Clear bottles, toiletries and loose items from the surfaces you want cleaned so the cleaner can reach them.
In bedrooms and common areas, deep cleaning adds detailed dusting of baseboards, trim, vents and ledges, reachable ceiling fans and fixtures, wall spots, and floor edges and corners. It includes vacuuming under light furniture where accessible, not upholstery or fabric cleaning. Cleaners do not move refrigerators or heavy furniture.
Oven, refrigerator, microwave, cabinet and drawer interiors, interior windows and window tracks are separate add-ons. Heavy buildup and post-construction debris also need a separate request. Included tasks assume a reasonable level of buildup; share the condition of your home and any extras before booking.
For an occupied house or apartment, choose deep cleaning when you need detail work beyond routine upkeep. For a completely empty property before or after a move, compare the move-in and move-out service. Final pricing and scope may adjust if the property differs from what was booked.
